Although I am hardly a fan of Ted Cruz, I feel I must respond to Donald Trump's preposterous claim that Cruz's father, Rafael Cruz, was in league with Lee Harvey Oswald. His proof positive is this photo, which I show several times in the course of ASSASSINATION THEATER. If that is indeed Rafael Cruz, Oswald was not consorting with him. Instead, Oswald was confronting the anti-Castro Cruz with a "Hands Off Cuba" handbill. It's one of many public displays LHO made to show he was a Castro-loving Communist in the weeks before the assassination.

During this incident Oswald was arrested for creating a disturbance and went on the radio to talk about it. At no time was it reported that anyone else was involved in his counter-demonstration. However, if you look at the full shot as I have here (instead of the cropped one that appeared in the National Enquirer), you can see a man at the far right who was definitely in league with Oswald. He was a master forger and mob associate named Chauncey Holt. He created the handbills for Oswald. A few months later, he would drive two of the real shooters from a ranch in Arizona to Dallas.
